QS World MBA Tour Anyone?

Question

Does anyone have any experience with the QS World MBA Tour? https://www.topmba.com/mba-events.
If you do, could you please chime in on whether it's worth it to take a day off work and spend $1000 to attend a session? I've been researching business schools for a few months now and I think I know what I would get/want out of each school I'm planning to apply to. But I'd like get feedback from fellow clubbers and see if there's still value in attending a session.

Paul, I believe he is referring to airfare/lost wages. The MBA tour is 5$ in advance or 15$ at the gate.

Does anyone know how to find which schools will be at each stop?

There is some value because it gives you an opportunity to interact with the admissions staff. However it is quite difficult to get a decent feel of a school at these events. Typically the representatives of the school will try and sell to you why you should apply. Also it can be extremely busy at these events.

Yes, the $1000 came from expedia for airfare+hotel+taxi...

If you go to https://www.topmba.com/qs-world-mba-tour ... /new-york?, they mention H/W/Columbia as the presenters in one section while there's no mention of Wharton in the list of schools at the bottom of the page, a little unclear. FWIW, fellow clubber, Dakells wrote he didnt bother attending a session he signed up for after they spammed the heck out of his inbox.
