Hey all ,

I wanted to know if harvard extension courses would help in my mba application ? or is there a better extension program which would add some good weight to my application and career ?

Hey Rockstaaa,

Why do you feel like you need to take extension courses? Is there a particular weakness in your profile you want to address?

If that is the case, I don't think that taking Harvard extension course will be different to taking another extension course (I could be wrong though, and happy to stand corrected) - it should be out your results and your perseverance to demonstrate that your 'weakness' is in fact not a weakness, as evidenced by course x,y,z.

Not sure if that answers your question!

Well i have a very low gpa and only a 3years bcom course in india . my gpa is 6.21 on 10 . which is really low . if i convert it on 4 then its around 2.4 or so . so was wondering if these courses would help me on that one .

Short answer, no.

However, putting together an alternative transcript can only help. However this really does not have to be from Harvard. There are lots of options for taking supplementary classes. The key is what class you take rather than the prestige of the school.

Oh thanks alot Domotron .. Well cause of my poor acads I was thinking on taking up a masters but the problem is its like 2 years studying here ... So was kinda hesitant if I should spend 2 years on it or no . As you can see my GPA is kinda horrible so ~

so is it a good choice to take up masters ? or an alternative transcript is enough to cover it up completely ?
