I am looking forward to pursue my MBA in 2015 and I appreciate any help to shortlist the list of schools I need to apply to.
Brief Overview of my Profile:
1. Indian/Male/30Years GMAT: 710 (Q49, V36) IR: 6 AWA: 6
2. Undergrad: Bachelors in Engineering/GPA: 2.8 (out of 4.0)/Computer Science
3. Work Experience 1: 4 Years experience in product development as a software engineer
4. Completed a 1 year masters degree to shift into Marketing (GPA: 3.2 (out of 4.0))
5. Work Experience 2: 2 years of work experience in top Market Research firm
6. Work Experience 3: Started a start up related to market research (won a nation-wide startup competition, working from last 1 year, but things are not going great.)
7. Current Status: Shutdown the startup and interviewing with a few top companies to get back into a job.
Why do I want to do an MBA?
1. I have gained good business experience in my last few years of work. But, I am not satisfied being limited to Market Research. I want to learn more about business and I want to use my MBA to kick start a career in the Marketing/Consulting domain.
I would appreciate if the experts can help me with a few schools where I stand a chance and I can further my interests in Marketing/Consulting.
It will be great if you can mention some safe schools where I can have a decent chance of getting admitted.
