I work as a high school teacher at a private school, and my previous work experience was doing EdTech projects at the university level. My potential recommenders right now are my former boss (headmaster) and last year's supervisor (department chair) who just retired. Both will have written dozens of college recs. over the years, but I doubt either has ever written an MBA rec. It's really important that I have a tight and well-organized recommender's packet for them.
I found two examples of reco. packets, but they're both from people in the corporate world. My difficulty is that I need to describe my teaching and educational management experience in terms that that MBA admission officers can understand. I manage classrooms, not clients, and I'm not used to describing my work experience in typical business terms.
Are there any teachers or TFAers out there who could help me with this? Would any of you non-traditional candidates mind sending me a copy of your own reco. packet so I can get some ideas? I just need to know what kind of examples will resonate with the admission officers and how to put my career in terms they can understand.
