Nope. Firstly, you cannot straightaway convert a percentage to GPA. 75% is a good percentage, but would depend on the university from where you were awarded the marks. A lot of US schools are aware of differences in the marking systems across Indian universities. That said, schools do tend to place slightly more importance on the GMAT if they are not clear about the scoring system of your university.
