If an applicant applies to a full-time program and gets rejected, can they apply to the same school's EMBA that same year? Is the applicant then considered a re-applicant?
Well the question to this question is: what are your goals, and which program is actually better for you?

Best,
Jon

I believe your question is not whether you should apply to an EMBA program, but rather, can you apply to an EMBA program after being denied to a FT program in the same year. Generally speaking, you can only apply to one program per year. The year after, if you wish to apply to the EMBA program, you would then be considered a reapplicant. Hope that answers your primary concern. I will say, however, that the points made above about your goals and the decision on which program to apply to shouldn't be taken lightly. Take some time to figure our your goals and align them to what you think you can get out of a particular MBA program. This will ensure you have the rationale to make a compelling case in your application. Best of luck!
