Yes, it's a good idea to have each letter focus on a different part of your profile / a different skill set.

Absolutely! Each portion of your application should showcase a different part of your skill set and experience. The LORs should be from different perspectives and provide the AdComm with a holistic view of who you are in a professional setting (or from your involvement experience).
