GMAT Date 3 weeks before R2 deadline and TOEFL date 2 weeks before

Question

Hi,

I am planning to take my GMAT on 12th Dec and TOEFL on 19th Dec.
If I see on official GMAT and TOEFL website, it is recommended to take the test at least 8 weeks in advance.
Would it be a problem with my official scores sent late to universities?
The earliest deadline i am looking at is 4th January.

The GMAT scores are usually reported to the schools much earlier than what is quoted on the website.
For the TOEFL, you might need more number f days though.

Which schools are you planning to apply? Most schools give you a TOEFL waiver if you have completed your education from a University, where the medium of teaching was English. If that is so, you might well not be required to give TOEFL.

I am planning to apply for Wharton, GSB, Sloan and booth. and I have completed my bachelors degree from English medium.
I did see that some of these schools do not have criteria for TOEFL if I meet the criteria you mentioned earlier but I saw that % of students who didn't take TOEFL and got accepted is much lesser. That's the reason I wanted to take TOEFL, to be on safer side.
Do you think that if I just skip TOEFl, I should have same chance of getting in with a good GMAT score?
and if I need to take it, how many weeks in advance should I take it?

hi kartiki, If you are exempted from taking TOEFL, then there would be no bearing of it on the outcome of your application. For more details, you can have a look here: https://www.ets.org/toefl/ibt/scores/send/

I hAVE same problem ,
if i take the TOEFL 2 weeks before deadlines will be so late ?
