Your GPA is only one data point the AdComm will use amongst many. Now this data point is important but schools really look holistically at your profile. Performing in grad program helps as does scoring "high" on the GMAT. However, I would not recommend enrolling in a grad program if it does not align with your career goals. That really is a waste of time and money. For Kellogg it would help you to hit and exceed the school's average GMAT score as an initial step but again all aspect of the application will factor into an eventual decision, you are just off to a bad start with your low GPA
