The question "What will your Clustermates be pleasantly surprised to learn about you?" requires no more than 250 words to write. Therefore, you won't be able to list all your interests: sports, books, social activitities, hobbies etc. The biggest challenge here will be to choose 1-2 things, which would describe you most precisely and impressively. Besides being impressive, however, I believe the important criterion must be not the activity itself, but the impact it has had on you and your environment.
For example, it could be the case of playing chess as a hobby, which is not significant as an activity in a whole, but might have influenced your right decisions and their consequences so that changed your life goals completely.
Or maybe, running is your hobby because you open yourself to new feelings and freedom, when run. Those feelings help you discover new ideas and bring fresh air to existing ones.
Whatever the example could be, the one thing you shouil remember that you write about you as a person, so the more personalized descriptions you use, the better.
