Hi everyone,
This is my first post here on the forums, but I've been visiting the site for some time now. I graduated from a top 10 (at worst top 12) public university here in the U.S. last year and now I work in IT as a computer programmer. My degree is related to Computer Science but it is not exactly computer science and it was not easy. My GPA is not good- it's 2.8. I plan on working for 2-3 more years and then go for an MBA. I want to start helping my case because the GPA already hurts. I will take the GMAT later this year and I hope to get a 700(easier said than done).
What classes should I take at my college here in town to boost my chances? I heard Financial Accounting, Business Calculus I,and Statistics are great to take and get As in.
What is more useful Statistics or B Calculus for and MBA? There seems to be a debate. I just want to take whatever class that will improve my chances.
I plan on taking a College Algebra class this summer to get my skills back to normal for the GMAT. The quantitative section seems like a beast.
Thanks in advance.
