This is a huge point for Indian applicants- you must consider not only what you want to do but also which companies and industries are most open to hiring Indian applicants. Would love to hear some examples from the members here about which companies you have found to be most receptive to you in the recruiting process! This is very important for Indian candidates to consider. What I suggest you do when applying to a school is reach out to the International students club or to MBA ambassadors and get connected to the current students from India. Ask them directly which companies are offering internships and full time employment offers to international students- and do more research on those companies to see how you may be able to incorporate those pathways into your short term goals. I have heard of great receptivity in the tech sector and think this could be a very useful thread for people to share their experiences in this area here on the forum to help others as they approach this topic!
