Urgent Help with decision to disclose part time Post graduate

Question

Hi,

I am applying to the top B schools. I have a decent background and work experience (Engg background). However while I was working with my start-up I completed a masters in business law from a very good university as distance education course. My GPA in this course is very bad.

Should I disclose this GPA and degree to admission committee or completely ignore this from my application. I had scored 3.6/7.0 (This is a reflection of absolute score, it is not graded against my class mates) in this distance education (part time) course.

You should disclose everything, else it'll come out during the background check and your offer could be rescinded. Unless I'm mistaken, or something has changed, every college expects you to disclose every course you've ever taken.

Absolutely. You have to disclose everything. Now you can offset this by taking extra courses and getting As and/or getting a high GMAT score. The GMAT would be more important but the best would be to do both. Good luck!

However, please showcase all the takeaways you had from this experience in an appropriate manner and make an attempt to highlight how the same has added to your overall profile. A number of schools have an optional essay and the low GPA may be addressed there
