Hey guys-- just want some advice on proper waitlist protocol. I'm providing an email update to my application and wanted to know if I should write the update (about 3 paragraphs) in the body of the email or as a separate pdf document or both? I'll also be attaching other pdfs (new score + transcript) so I don't want to overload them with attachments.

Here are my suggestions:
1. Don't attach the updates other than transcript/GMAT Score.
2. Write the updates in points if possible and make them to the point.

Some schools expect formal updates so in those situations, it is fine to include as an attachment. If you are submitting an update on your own then I think it makes sense to include in the body of the email. This will help avoid it being overlooked and/or getting buried amongst your attachments. You don't want to make reviewing your updates seem like a chore especially if they were not expected
