I am unsure which B-schools you are going to apply to. If I consider top 50, your GMAT score is not even near the lower range of the schools. You must raise your score to 650 to get into US B-schools. I would suggest not to apply to schools with 540. You need to focus first on GMAT and then on rest of the things. You can take online course/ coaching nearby your residence / private tutoring.
