This is an awesome forum! Great job and keep up the good work.

I am a post grad from a reputed school, have 15yrs work experience having been practicing GMAT, I have seen decent scores in kaplan etc ( about mid 600 average) I am shooting for high 600, got about 6 weeks to go.

I live in boston area and due to family my choices are going to be limited to HBS, Babson, MIT, Tufts and potentially Yale.

My question is, I am 41 yrs old. If I get a decent score in GMAT, and good recs ( I have worked in a couple of reasonably successful startups and could get recs from top execs of those startups), what are my chances of getting in to top B-schools?

Am I too old for a full time MBA program? What is your oldest (full-time) MBA classmate? Could anyone please shed some light an what role does age play during the selection process?

welcome to our forums...
I think most imp. for you would be to tell the admissions - why you want an MBA now? What benefits will you get from it and what will you accomplish from it that you have not already had...

Also, have you considered the executive mba programs?
