Hello everybody!
I'm a french student studying in a BBA in France and I'm about to enter my third year. (My programme lasts 4 years)
During my first two years I was an idiot not focusing on my grades. I have recently thought a lot about my future, and now I know I want to do my master abroad in a top European business school. I will work hard during my 3rd year in order to get the best GPA, GMAT and IELTS possible to maximize my chances of getting into a top school. I regret so much my childish behaviour and I'm worried that my low GPA of the first two years will stop me from getting into top B-School and that is why I need your help:
My school is ranked among the top 10 B-School in France (depends on the rankings, but generally between 7th and 10th), and is ranked 50th on the Financial Times ranking of European Business Schools.
During my first year in the first semester I had a GPA of 3.63, so yes it is correct but it's from the 2nd semester that things started going bad :/ I had a very low GPA during my 2nd semester with 3.0.
I spent my second year abroad at BI Norwegian Business School (the best b-school in Norway and ranked stg like 36th in the ft ranking). However I was not serious at all during this year and got an average grade of C in the first semester and I even flunked one subject... Regarding the 2nd semester I haven't taken my exams yet but I estimate I will have an average of either C or B, but C is more likely unfortunately :/ (I got problems with teammates for my term papers that is why I can't expect very good grades)
So overall:
1st year: 3.63 & 3.0 GPA
2nd year: average grade of C and 2nd semester not evaluated yet.
My question is: If during my 3rd year I work hard and manage to get 4.0 of GPA during both semesters as well as a good score on the GMAT (700+) do I have any chances of getting into msc in international management from schools like bocconi, esade etc... ?
Thanks!
