Folks,
Took my GMAT yesterday. Although I couldn't reach a 700 (my target), I got close with a 680 (Q49, V34). I want to pursue an MBA in Product Management and looking to apply in the following schools:
1. Michigan Ross
2. Duke Fuqua
3. Carnegie Mellon
4. Georgia Tech
5. Emory Goizueta
6. Kelley School of Business - Indiana
What are my odds for the above universities? Can I apply in slightly better universities (Booth/Kellogg, McCombs, UVA Darden etc)
My profile is as follows:
GMAT - 680 (Q49, V34). Being a non-native speaker, I can add a word or two about my Verbal score. Quant score is pretty good. So, some justification there.
Work Experience - 4 years in ELECTRICAL CONSULTING INDUSTRY (Got promoted with loads of additional responsibilities assigned. I can go on and on.)
Bachelors in Electrical Engg from VIT University (7.67/10)
Masters in Electrical Engg from Michigan Tech Univeristy (3.86/4)
All I have done in Bachelors is leadership, extra curricular activities. Got a lot to talk about leading small teams and achieving common goals here. (All through my career)
Extra curricular: Theater - (Planning to use this to my advantage in the Essay)
Decent LORs from B-school Alums.
I greatly appreciate any input you could provide.
Best,
Sriram.
