Hi, I am new to the GMAT Club; found a lot of useful resources and more importantly, great people here who are familiar with the MBA application process.
I wanted to get some information on which top colleges are open to 2nd MBA applicants and if there are any things in particular a 2nd MBA applicant should keep in mind while applying to these colleges. I am a 2016 MBA graduate from a B-school in India (from one of the IIMs) and want to pursue a second MBA for global experience and shifting to a new geography - US/UK/Europe.
I wanted to get some information on which top colleges are open to 2nd MBA applicants and if there are any things in particular a 2nd MBA applicant should keep in mind while applying to these colleges. While you should double check with each program you end up considering, here is some research to get you started:
Schools that do NOT accept 2nd MBA applicants: Tuck, Haas, Fuqua, Owen (Vanderbilt), Goizueta (if MBA was done in the US)
Schools that do accept 2nd MBA applicants: Wharton, Sloan, Ross, Kellogg (for their 1-year MBA)
The best thing you can do is put together a list of all the schools that interest you and then send out a uniform (but personally specific) email to each admissions office inbox about this inquiry. This way you can have clear responses in writing.
