It's going to be a high hurdle to clear. Despite your solid GMAT score, your GPA could be a dealbreaker. Plus, if you have relatively less work experience, GPA tends to count more. That obviously works against you. Is there a reason why your GMAT is below average? Can you offer that explanation in the optional essay to potentially mitigate its effect?

I'm not saying you won't have a shot at Fuqua, Ross and Johnson, but it will be difficult. GPA is such a tricky component because not every GPA is created equally from country to country, school to school and major to major. If you do apply to those schools, I'd suggest having backup plans in terms of staying in the workforce or also applying to lower-ranked MBA programs.

Our team is happy to chat if you think we can be of help to you in your application process.

Thank you for your reply. What do you think of MBAs like Mccombs which are lower T20? And if I raise my GMAT? Unfortunately nothing I can do regarding my GPA

McCombs is a great option and slightly more attainable than the others on your list. You might want to add a couple more to give you more "at-bats."

Yes, if you can raise your GMAT ~30 points that would go a long way to help you. It might not totally outweigh your GPA but it at least gives you a better shot. Then, address your GPA in your optional essay and hope for the best!

No problem. A few other programs of interest with a focus on investment banking could be:

1. Georgetown McDonough (in line with Cornell)
2. Indiana Kelley
3. Washington Foster
4. Vanderbilt Owen
5. Emory Goizueta

Good luck!
