Hello ammu100 / Amit,

Thanks for posting,

Your greatest chance is to be open and honest with the AdComs. It is extremely challenging to conceal your academic background. If chosen, a background investigation would be conducted on you. If the AdComs learn of this later in the admissions process, it would be disastrous, and your offer might even be revoked.

Here, it would be wiser to be honest about your first undergraduate grades and make an effort to draw lessons from them (highlight challenges faced and ways you overcame them to improve your score). If you’d like, we are happy to hop on a call with you sometime this week to discuss your profile in length and further chances to the b-schools. So feel free to book a free session with us at your convenience.

Coffee with MBA and Beyond

Cheers!

Hello, I'm Amit. Currently, I am pursuing my second undergrad in arts. Additionally, I'm also preparing for MBA & want to get admission to the top US deferred MBA program. But I'm worried that my 1st undergrad GPA hurt my chances. So I thought why don't I apply with my second undergrad degree which has a significantly high GPA.
I want to know can't I hide my additional educational qualification from the admission committee, and is it safe to do so? I think it should be on us to put our best on the table.
