Hold off before sending. You can always send the 460 if for some reason that ends up being the better of the two scores.

FWIW, most schools tend to take your highest score. So even if you did send this one and then did better the second time around, you could send the second and not really hurt your chances.

Let us know if we can be of any additional assistance (free consultation: https://admissionado.com/free-consultation/)

Hope that helps,

hi did you take the re-test
how did you prepare for your next test?
JulianJ
Hello,

I took GMAT recently, scoring really low - 460 (Q29 V25)

I am going to retake the exam in a couple of weeks hoping to improve to at least 600.

My question is whether I should send my scores to my desired universities now or it does not make any sense to send it as the score is really low.

My argument in favor of sending is that universities might see the progress I made (even from very low to mediocre) and could like that.

What is your opinion on this?

Thank you.
