hey all Cornell Applicants,

I scheduled my interview for a certain date, but I did not get any instructions on where am I suppose to land on that date. Do I just land to the admissions office? Or to the main MBA building?

Where do I go?

Is there enough parking at Cornell? Or am I better of just using a cab?

Any comments?

Just head to the admissions office in Sage Hall and they'll have everything ready for you.

Parking on campus can be a pain. I usually park behind Willard Straight Hall where there is a metered lot, so you don't have to purchase a parking tag. If that lot is full you can purchase a half-day pass for around $4 at any information both and they'll give you a map which shows all the visitor parking lots.

stay at the Best Western University Inn. they have a shuttle service to campus.

Parking totally sucks. But if you smile real nice, the cute co-ed who staffs the parking booth in front of Sage Hall might give you a free pass to the (somewhat) nearby parking structure. At least, that's what happened to me. She even told me she wasn't supposed to. That, folks, is the power of my allure.

Other advice - make nice to Michelle, who you'll meet when you come into admissions. And I hope you don't get the same schmo running the info session that I got. Total doofus.

And....if you have time, walk yourself over to the Johnson Art Museum. It's a big square building perched on the edge of the hill. Go up to the 6th floor and look out the gigantic windows. Best view in the county. The art ain't half bad either. But the museum is closed on Monday. Also, make sure you get off campus. Collegetown is a little --- well, undergrad-y. The Commons is lovely, and at the center of downtown Ithaca.
