No Full time MBA at Kellogg = 1310

Full time MBA stats for Kellogg
Num applicants = 4072
Selectivity = 24%
Yield = 56

now 24% of 4072 = 977 to 978

Yield = 56%

hence total full time MBA students = 56 % of 976 to 978 i.e = 546 to 548
But as per BW No Full time MBA at Kellogg = 1310
can any body explain this discrepancy??

I think that if for both first and second year combined so divide by 2

No te stats says enrollment which cant be 2nd year students can they??

intrestingly dividing by 2 makes the numbers tally
But I still feel that we should not consider dividing by 2

Given a 56% yield 1017 students were admitted
Given 24% Selectivity we get 4238

These numbers seem to represnt reality so 1300 cannot be the figure of fulltime MBA students (btach of 2007)

Thats the error in BW

1300 fullt ime MBA students is incorrect
it should have been 500
1300 accepted could sound plausible
