It's really up to you...how you see the school fit with you...
Anyway, to my opinion, Notre Dame would be a good choice. Essays are easy, the application process is quick, so you will know result just 1 month from applying.
I have visited and think that Washington, Indiana and Purdue are also very good schools. I applied to those. Also, Indiana Trio have very similar essays, so you can reuse those essays.
My strategy was different from yours. I applied to some average schools first then continued applying to some top schools, because I really could not figure out if I am strong enough for top schools. But with some admits, now I feel more confident. (of course, from confidence to reality is pretty far).

I'm hopping for LBS too.
It's a long shot though.
Applied also to UCLA and Applying to NYU, Columbia and maybe Darden (last round)...

To analyze options on back ups, check the Near Elite / Near Elite Frontier sections in the forum and try to match a few schools from these clusters with your career plans in case you end up going (let's hope not as you would like to attend LBS).

thanks guys.. been looking into backup schools! will keep you guys posted on something interesting that i might catch on..

in the mean time, i am taking three classes to prep my self for MBA
