This question, i know, can only receive extremely speculative answers. But I'm young, need reassurance (or confirmation of my fears that I am wasting my time) of my B-School goals.
I want to know how competitive of a candidate I can generally be considered. A breakdown:
Would have 3 years of work experience by Fall 08
B.S. Mechanical Engineering
Engineer at top Aerospace Company
3.0 Undegrad GPA
Anticipated GMAT Score: 700+ (scored 690 on GMAT Prep #1 w/out studying)
Extracurriculars: In school was class president one year, Ambassador, President of ASME. Also co-published book featured on top network News channels and in national newspapers.
I understand this is difficult; but where might I fall in your experience as a competitive candidate?

Sorry, just kidding. Actually I haven't a clue. But I have a suggestion for you: post your profile and questions in the AskAccepted.com and Ask Hjort subforums. Both Paul and Hjort will be in a much better position to answer your question.
