I am targeting round 1 applications for my second MBA from US.
I have already applied to Kellogg, Ross and NYU Tech MBA (aspirational)
Require suggestion on the realistic to safety schools to apply to. I would prefer a college on east coast for personal reasons.
Here is a short brief of my profile.
GMAT - 700 (Q-48, V-37, IR - 8, AWA - 6)
UG:
Chemical Engg from govt. state college.
GPA - 3.3
PORs - Placement head, health secretary etc.
Post UG work ex: 22 months
As Supply chain analyst at MNC in petrochemical industry.
PG:
MBA from IIM Bangalore
GPA: 2.9
Core member - cultural fest team lead, social club charity event organiser etc.
Internship - strategy consulting (top 5 firms)
Got PPO
Post PG workex: 24 months at one of the top 5 management consulting firm
Strategy consulting (Sales & distribution setup, retail chain expansion, PMO etc.)
Additional responsibility - Hiring captain
Post MBA goal - strategy role in tech- giant, fallback - strategy consulting
Please help me choose the next set of schools to apply in (3-4 more schools).
1. Tepper/Mccombs
2. Emory (one year MBA)
3. Georgetown/Scheller
4. Kelley/Simon
5. Ohio / Notre Dame (One year) - Both schools are 3 hrs away from my family, would prefer them if post MBA job is not impacted much
