IIM students receive huge offer

Indore, Mar 2: The students of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore received lucrative placement offers. The maximum offer was of Rs 50,00,000 per annum and around 67 companies visited for placement.
The director of IIM, Dr SP Parashar said that there were final placements at the institution on Feb 27,28 in which the students got excellent offers. Renowned companies of India and abroad participated in campus placement. The average wages was Rs 12 lakh per annum.
Overall 115 students participated in the placement and these students were given 329 placement offers by the companies.
The data of placement offers was 296 last year. Thus in the current year 33 more offers were added in giving placement including 12 international offers.
This year several renowned companies visited here to offer placements to the students; some of them are Macancy, Assenger business consultant, KPMG, Stern Stewart and company, Deloty consultancy, Aptiva consulting, Price waterhouse Coopers, Sap labs banking and financial services, Lehmen brothers, Goldman Saches, Duche bank, Ocvin financial, Bank of America, HSBC, City group, Standard Chartered and JP Morgan etc. Whereas in marketing field include Alghamin Industries, Colgate Palmolive, Asian Paints, ITC, Reliance, Dabur Astro meset etc.
Some IT companies include Oracle, Cap Gemini, Hand strong, Cognijent, IBM, Kotek Mahindra and Kevonsis etc.
