Fantastic profile. Admissions officers have a soft spot for applicants who are, in the well-traveled term, "passionate" about their dreams. It's only human to respond to enthusiasm. Schools will use the essays to get an indirect picture of the quality of your mind and thought process. As an MBB consultant, are you thinking critically about the issues in your organisation or industry, in the field of educational technology? Can you craft a compelling argument that connects your past, your goals, and your target schools (each with their unique characteristics)? What is your unique story?

I really liked your profile and inspiring vision for the post-MBA, and if you'd like, I'd be happy to advise with you for free.

Feel free to contact me to have a conversation.

Best wishes

Hi stlony

I hope you are doing well. Speaking about your profile, you have a lot going for your M7 application this year. Your 3 years at MBB, especially focusing on the public sector and policy in Southeast Asia, is super impressive. It shows you have a unique and impactful skillset. Plus, that 705 GMAT with a strong quant score is no joke – it definitely demonstrates your analytical chops. Founding a career center that's still running is commendable – it speaks volumes about your initiative and leadership potential.

Now, the 3.2 GPA might raise a tiny flag at HSW, but honestly, your story about overcoming limited educational opportunities in Southeast Asia adds a powerful layer to your application. It shows grit and determination, qualities that top schools value highly. The whole education focus throughout your career, from MBB to your EdTech dreams, perfectly aligns with the strengths of schools like MIT Sloan and Booth.

To be honest, seeing your CV would be awesome. It would give a clearer picture of your specific achievements at MBB and the impact your career center has had. Plus, connecting directly would allow for a much more tailored discussion about your application strategy and how to best tell your story for each school.

Good Luck!
