The decision in front of you right now is whether to apply this cycle at 24 with two years of experience, or wait until you have three to four years and a clearer professional story to tell.

- A 655 on the current GMAT sits roughly around the percentile territory historically associated with a Classic 700, which means the score is unlikely to be the file's weak point; what will actually decide this application at any top-15 program is whether two years in Big 4 consulting, even in London, can demonstrate the scope of ownership and decision-making that most programs expect from candidates applying in their mid-to-late twenties with four or five years behind them. Readers see a lot of Big 4 files, and the ones that read as thin aren't thin on credentials; they're thin on consequence.

- CFA Level I cleared and Level II in progress is worth flagging explicitly in applications targeting finance-adjacent roles, because it signals self-directed technical commitment beyond what the day job required; that combination with a UCL Mathematics degree does give you a credible academic thread to pull, but only if the post-MBA goal is specific enough to make the thread feel intentional rather than coincidental.
