Hello to those who will read my application
I am sharing my profile here to get an honest assessment of my chances of admission to top Master in Management programs and advice on the GMAT Focus score I should realistically target. I am a 2nd year student at Rennes School Of business studying in a Bachelor in management and general administrations (English track)
My goal is to pursue a MiM with a long-term ambition of becoming an entrepreneur. I am mainly targeting Bocconi (top choice), INSEAD, IE,ESADE, and Nova SBE. As a French student with a Bachelor background, I am ruling out ESSEC/ESCP due to structural constraints.
The thing is, I lack a lot of self-confidence and I need outside expertise and an honest opinion on what GMAT score I should aim for to have a chance of being admitted based on my application. Having not done maths for several years, this is a difficult step in my journey because it is an exam that requires speed, and that is not something I particularly excel at, even though I remain confident because I practise every day. -TOEFL 93 but exempted because my degree was taught entirely in English, so I am fully bilingual. B2/C1 Level in Spanish
- I am aiming for a GMAT Focus score of 615-620 or higher if possible.
- Four-month internship in M&A at Natixis Partners (a major strength in my opinion).
- Internship as an executive/multi-site management assistant in an agri-food group.
- Multiple group project as for example "pum adventure project" (i was group coordinator) which was aone-year project that involves setting up a fictitious company and creating a product, which is then presented to a panel of judges. Also , the reciprocity project during my second year where we work on a project for six months, fully participating in the implementation of activities in partnership and close contact with a chosen association.
- GPA: 4.5/5, 15th (top 5%) in my cohort out of 280 - Upcoming exchange with RSM, specialising in Finance during my 3rd year

Your profile and target GMAT score are in line with the schools you have mentioned; however, for INSEAD (even though the school does not state a requirement, we would recommend targeting a 645+ on the GMAT).
Having a set of clear short-term goals (that sync with your existing experience) will be crucial and having those sync with your long-term goal will be equally important.
All in all, the schools will consider your profile for the overall strength of it - recommendations, essays, GMAT score.
