I got notified that my schools were notified of my score well before I was, at least a week before. I am sure its a fairly common event for schools so they must have policies for it.

I am amazed at your efforts though, balancing studying for the GMAT and writing essays must be pretty difficult.

That plus a corporate finance job is not easy to combine indeed :) Doing my best.

I am scared that I won't be able to give my best in both though, 2 months for Gmat study AND still a lot of essays to write, not going to be easy.

I am intending to take 2 or 3 weeks off before the gmat, and I am already scoring 650 on the test software, so I'm fairly comfortable for the Gmat. How many hours does it take to write an essay though?? (rough estimate).

Definitely school by school. Some schools give you the last day you can take the test to be considered for a specific round.

Stern specifically says you can take it as late as the deadline for the round.
