yes

go to forwarding and set it up there. If you use sprint, your phone's sms is

xxxxxxxxxx [at] messaging.sprintpcs.com

to find your phone's email address, send an sms to your gmail account and just put that address into your forwarding option.

After being repeatedly snubbed by "No new messages" in my Gmail inbox, I have decided enough is enough. I am planning a 1-week boycott of my gmail account. No peeking, no quick status checks, nothing...

Who's willing to join me?

I was pretty much in the same situation. Have given myself a start worrying date of Nov 10. If I don't get an interview invite by then, gosh... :-D

Those of you who haven't done so, you may want to consider setting up gmail IMAP on thunderbird / outlook / iPhones. Much easier to let the mails come to you than to go to gmail to find "No message".

hrm... is it strange that I'm pretty calm right now, not even looking at the Stanford and UCLA websites for statuses (except when Avi found out his app was on hold)?

I think I may just submit Haas this week and not really care about whether I get an email or not, until December that is. I guess the schools I'm applying to either interview everyone (Kellogg) or won't send out invitations till mid-December/early January (Haas, Stanford).

Not too worried at the moment, though that may change.

Please specify what # school visit is this for Haas. I am placing a wager of 100 to 1 that 2nd yr students think u are a first year student at Haas. You have gone to Haas every week. I think at this point the ad-com should just wave a white flag and tell you "you are in. Please stop visiting us. We surrender. We have a spot here for you in the Entrepreneur class. The seat is covered in gold velvet, the floor has shag carpeting, and there are 2 bikini clad models feeding u grapes and fanning you."

Good luck being the calm sailor in the middle of the storm. I will use my peer pressure to bring some change in ur serene atmosphere.

LOL! Oh Avi, you always make me laugh inappropriately at work!

Don't get me wrong, I worry A LOT for many things, but somehow I just don't think worrying can change anything after you submit, until you get the interview... like I said before, you and everyone on GMATClub will probably "peer pressure" me into panicking in a month or so. There is a reason why I scheduled a 3-week long vacation to another continent, so I cannot check email that easily!

That and the schools I'm applying to are VERY slow with interview invites, spread them out over a long period of time, or are very disorganized (you know which school I'm talking about). :P
