I have been watching far too much of "the Office" lately. In honor of our leaving the workplace for 2 years, how about starting a collection of those gems that come up in daily office life. All those times when people say something just SO ridiculous that it deserves to be memorialized forever - But you can't print it out and post it at your desk cause that is just baaaad mojo.

Situation: Meeting where a project was being handed off to my team.
me: "Have you documented the current state of the project and what you are trying to accomplish?"
other guy (a MANAGER): "We figured you guys should write the documentation since you don't know how it works."
I almost laughed, thinking he was joking. Sadly, he was serious.
