Not very clear but here is what I understand from it:

Student : "it doesn't work - the laptop-"
Prof : "did you try this ?" -smashes the keyboard- "and this???" - throws the laptop - "and this" - smashes the laptop-
Prof whispers to the class : "sorry"

The text says something like "the student was really annoying, even to the rest of the students. The prof lost his job, but at least proved he had balls..."
