So, I got waitlisted this year at Chicago and Ross, and because of the high yield, I'm preparing for my application either this fall or next fall. (I might wait a year because, honestly, I don't know if I can handle writing all those essays again right now.) I think that my application is strong, with the exception of work experience (I have 3 yrs now) and my GPA.
Anyways, I need to build an alternative transcript. Luckily, I live in the Chicago area, and I can take some classes at Northwestern or DePaul. My degree is in Econ and my GPA is below a 3 (though from a very well regarded school).
Unfortunately, I can only take one class at Northwestern this summer. I checked the schedule, and the classes that I figured would be useful are all taught at the same time. I do want to take a few classes during the summer so that I can get my grades before the fall.
I can take 2 or 3 classes at DePaul though.
Or I can take 1 class at Northwestern and some through online classes (Berkeley or UCLA).
Or I could take 1 class at Northwestern and 1 (maybe 2) at DePaul
Any suggestions on which option would look the best if I have to reapply?
Thanks in advance for your help!
