Great Application Essays for Business School (Paul Bodine)
-seems like good instruction and points to hit in essays
65 Successful Harvard Business School Essays
-good examples of tone, structure, etc.
How to Get into the Top MBA Programs (Richard Montauk)
-seems a little generic but good for those who don't even know where they are applying to
*I ordered the first two books off Amazon today so my opinion is just my looking at the table of contents.

I've been reading the 65 Harvard Essays. It's good, but it's also like reading Superman's and Wonder Woman's bio. These people are the ones that are rescuing orphans from burning buildings while knitting scarfs for the homeless.
I'm smart enough to stay away from fire and I don't knit, so it looks like HBS is out of the picture for me.
Other than most of the essay authors being superhuman, it's a great book.
