They sent me a recruiting e-mail intimating that they give more scholarship money than other comparable schools, so that might be a good reason to apply. I haven't done my research as to how true the claim is, though...anyone know?

The location is actually the reason the school caught my attention. I have friends and family in Scootsdale and have always liked the Phoenix/Tempe/Scottsdale area. I have also heard about that about the scholarships...I dont know the actual numbers. I may be setting up a visit while I am visiting friends in the next few weeks. There is a preview day on Nov. 8th that I am thinking about checking out.

I did my undergrad at ASU and I can tell you that they are dedicating a lot of resources to the business school.

If you like attractive people, great weather, great parties, great sports, and affordabiliity....ASU is a great option.

I've lived in AZ my whole life so feel free to PM me if I can help with any specific questions.

I am originally from outside of NYC and went to ASU for my undergraduate (long story). Anyways, it was the best thing I ever did. ASU is an absolutely wonderful school and the WP Carey School of Business is now a 25 business school and getting better daily. The main reason is funding, ASU is now the largest college in the country and has a lot of wealthy alumni who apparently like donating money to the school.

The school itself is beautiful. The campus life is great. That is if you like palm trees, sunshine, low cost of living, some of the best restaurants in the country, nightlife, sports, beautiful women and close proximity to the 5th biggest city in the country (growing fast).

Definitely give it consideration, its great!!

ASU is an awesome school. They are really growing their business program on the undergrad and grad levels. The people are incredibly friendly, the campus and area is amazing, and can't really beat the weather. :P

I agree Arizona is too hot...

I am definately not a snow person, but too many 100F+ degree days and I dont want to go outside and do things. Just sit inside in front of the fan :-D .
