I need to apply R3 to one of these schools,cant reall decide which one is better for non-profit and as a backup plan ..MC?

Hi Fresinha,
I presume by MC you mean Management Consulting - well, INSEAD is traditionally considered a bit better than LBS in this field. Don't really know how those schools are for non-profit. Typical (albeit simplified) Top-Europe b-school perception is "LBS for finance, INSEAD for consulting and IMD for industry".
I know there are endless arguments which school is better, LBS or INSEAD. In my opinion, their quality and reputation are comparable, so the choice really depends on your personal preferences - do you need a 2-year or 1-year MBA? where would you be a better fit? where would you like to work? where would you like to live and study - UK or France/Singapore?
If you really not sure, you could apply to both
Also, INSEAD has two intakes, so you might consider the possibility to apply for Jan 2010.

I personally would choose INSEAD (if only the language thing didn't prevent me). I view it as having the best reputation among the ex-US schools and ranks right among the best of the US. Plus it is probably #1 in the world for MC recruiting. I would imagine that the MC-slant of INSEAD is more advantageous for non-profit than the finance-slant of LBS, but I'm really not sure. That said, if you are a career-changer, the opportunity for the internship between years 1 and 2 at LBS might be helpful, but I'm sure you can still get a great job out of INSEAD regardless.
