Yeah, all schools will generally be listed separately but all adcoms will be diving into your transcript. They're not going to settle for your overall number. They're going to see what courses you were taking and what your trend was and they're going to evaluate it without your framing input (unless you address something specifically in your essays).

Also, schools calculate GPA differently (even when they are still on the 4.0 scale). When calculating, I defaulted to my alma mater's default calculation -- not the school to which I applied. I figured it would be less that the adcom would have to scrutinize later.

(Ex: Duke graduate admissions suggests weighting "-" grades with a .8 whereas my alma mater weights them with a .7 [and curiously, so does Duke undergrad, I believe]; even though changing the calculations would have boosted me .1 in cumulative GPA, I went with the transcript-quoted GPA.)
