Just starting to check out threads/discussions on B-school apps. Is there something similar to what the GMAT has for newbies? Obviously there's no 3 month plan layed out but is there a thread with good resources to start first, bigger picture overview of the application process? Thanks.

While I haven't started the application process, I did review the Best MBA application tips thread and found it extremely insightful! You'll want to start at the beginning as the discussion does start to go off on tangents the further into the thread you read.

My advice is read through this stuff. I wouldnt get to stressed with applications yet, just start learning the process and what it takes. Start preparing a schedule: when you will take the GMAT if you haven't, when deadlines for schools are, etc.

Probably the biggest thing at this point is narrowing down your schools...and thinking how you can position your schools for those.
