How many times would you apply to MBAs before quitting?

I would try up third time's the charm. After that, I throw in the towel.

For those who had to re-apply, would you have done it again if you got rejected for the 2nd, 3rd, etc time?

As a reapplicant, I would wholeheartedly say to give it a 2nd try if you're sure that you want to do an MBA. Of course, I didn't get accepted at the 2 schools I reapplied to, I was accepted at schools I hadn't applied to before, so who knows. Nevertheless, if you get rejected twice by your choice schools you probably shouldn't try a 3rd time.

I'd have a hard time giving up on the MBA altogether. I'd either aim lower or pursue at Part-Time MBA instead.

Here's to hoping I don't have to give this question any real consideration this year.

For me - just once, but I think I'm applying to a decent range of schools, so hopefully I'll get into one of them!

I wonder if there are any success stories of people going with H/S/W (or M7) or bust who have reapplied to eventually get in. Anyone this forum?

I'm with you Avernusaur, but I have a feeling you won't have too much to worry about. Hope that fun-filled weekend of Haas essays was productive and fruitful!

This is my first time around, but I wouldn't try more than twice. You should be able to fix your weaknesses after the 1st time around and then if the 2nd time doesn't work, I'd probably give up.

I agree with just twice. After that, I think it just seems desperate. Did 2 people actually choose '5 or more'? That has to be a joke.
