"Let's check how often you speak lie in a day" ?

where did you learn your grammar from?

Don't you mean "lets check how often you've lied in a day"? The apostrophe in "Let's" is grammatically incorrect and you don't need the "speak" because the structure of the sentence already indicates that the usage of "lie" is oral. You need the "you've" which is short for "you have" because it needs to be parallel with the past action verb "lied"

You are in clear violation of punctual grammar.

In any event, how do you suppose to that we check how often we lie in a day. It's like playing a game of cat and mouse. It's useless. In fact, since I now corrected your grammar, why don't you tell me how often you lied today. You can start by saying your grammar is perfect and that you aced the sentence correction portion on the GMAT

perseverance --> I'm glad I can be of some amusement :-D

You are in clear violation of punctual grammar.

Irony: using incorrect grammar in a post chastising another poster's poor grammar.

Let's is actually correct in the OP, as a contraction for "Let us". Lets is the 3rd person form of the verb "to let." Google "let's vs. lets" if you don't believe me.

Anyway, let's (see what I did just there?) keep in mind that not everyone on this forum speaks English as a native language, and we shouldn't poke fun at people if they have trouble with the language. We're here to help, not mock.

Let's get back to the OP topic --> how often do people lie?

mr 770 rollin in with the big guns!

ed

props for catching my personal error but the OP's original thread post was just simply out of line of anything reasonable. I don't chastise anyone, so don't go around labeling everyone. That's not nice. I'm just trying to help the dude out with some grammar in a enthusiastic way. Clearly perseverance caught my drift and found it entertaining.

Jerz, seems like you might be patronizing vwjetty with your 'let's vs lets' grammar lesson. Before the original post was edited, it actually was difficult to decipher what the poster was asking. I don't think vwjetty meant to mock the OP, but rather bring some levity to the forum.
