Worth is something that you'd have to figure out for yourself. If you're targeting a company in India post-MBA and this company takes in a lot of MBA grads from a certain Indian b-school, yes, the worth is there. If you want to work on Wall Street, for Goldman Sachs, chances are the worth is not going to be there for you to attend an Indian b-school.

Well, Goldman Sachs and other top firms routinely hire grads from top IIMs, but they do so from their PGP program that requires CAT and not GMAT. GMAT is accepted mostly for one year MBA's from IIM's, ISB, Great Lakes, SP Jain, XLRI etc.
