For few months I have been following my rewards points and status with marked yellow position, on the down right in picture posted below and took that position for granted as accurate.
Currently that is 189. place in bold yellow column.
However, few days ago I wanted just for fun to see people who are above me just few points and naturally instead of Top List for experts mods and admins I went to Top List excluding experts mods and admins and was surprised that my position is 276. place instead of 189. that still says on down right yellow column.
This may or may not seem silly to you guys, but I would like someone to kindly explain what is the difference between those two lists and which one is accurate, and why on rewards dashboard in below top 10 list there is one place for my position and different one on corresponding Top List excluding experts mods and admins ?
I have included/posted below picture for your reference.

It seems that ...... 189 is the rank if the system counts only the unique points ( say for example 3 people have 110 points ........probably 189 is shown for all 3 ).
But .... 276 is you absolute ranking ==> 275 people have more or same point as yours at that instant.
bb or abhimahna and/or any other moderators can confirm on this.
Though .... there could be an improvement on this...... say for example if we tweek the algorith as Golf tournament ranking system . (say there are 10 players and 2 players have the second highest score , 4 players have 3rd highest score and rest have unique scores. then the ranking will show : e.g., 1,2,2,4,4,4,7,8.9,10)
