Hello friends,
My mom is suffering form diagnosed with a stage III brain tumor. So I need to suggestion about daily routines for an brain tumor patient?
Hello Alan,
I am sorry to hear that.
Daily activities should be done according to present physical state of your mom.
If she can walk comfortably and with safety she should walk or jog. If not then physiotherapy is recommended.
Apart from that you have to keep her engaged in something which interests her and keeps her happy. May be she likes music or likes watching a particular series or she likes puzzles or books. A mix of all activities is a good idea to keep the brain active and beat depression.
One important thing is keeping a sharp eye on any signs of increased intracranial pressure. Just google that and u will find most of the signs. Other thing is to take seizure precautions. At no point should she be near fire , heavy machinery or be driving or any place when she can fall.
I wish her good health.
P.S. I have practised neurosurgery for some time about an year) so I know what you must be going through. You can find more in support groups dedicated to brain tumor ... Just google u will find it.
