Delete Private Chats

Question

Hello, administrators and backend gurus. I believe bb mentioned in a somewhat recent post that the Chat feature may be getting an upgrade. Will there be some way to delete private chats? I ask because I am contacted this way once in a while, I guess as an alternative to a PM, and I now have a list of different private chats that I cannot get rid of, conversations I have not touched in months or even more than a year. When I look for options, I see nothing relevant except for "Archive." But clicking on that leads to the following screen:

The private chat just remains off to the side. Am I missing something?

Thanks Andrew. 
We should get an upgrade to the chat experience in about 3 months and the upgrade should resolve your issue.
