Hello GMAT Club Community,
I am currently preparing for the GMAT and aiming to achieve a high score to get into my dream business school. As someone who practices Islam, I am trying to balance my GMAT study schedule with my daily prayers and other religious commitments.
Recently, I discovered the qibla website, which has been incredibly helpful in finding the direction of qibla (Mecca )for my prayers, especially when I'm studying in different locations. However, I often find myself struggling to maintain a consistent study schedule due to the frequent breaks for prayers.
Here are my specific questions:
- Time Management Tips: How can I effectively manage my study time while ensuring I fulfill my prayer obligations? Any specific strategies that have worked for others in similar situations?
- Study Schedule: Can anyone share a sample study schedule that accommodates regular prayer times, especially during the busy last few months before the exam?
- Focus and Concentration: I sometimes find it hard to regain focus after taking a break for prayer. Any tips on how to quickly get back into the study mode?
- Utilizing Resources: Are there any GMAT prep resources that you found particularly useful for studying in short bursts between prayers?
- Support and Motivation: How do you stay motivated and maintain a positive mindset while balancing both GMAT preparation and religious practices?
I appreciate any advice or experiences you can share. Thank you in advance for your support!
