If I got into a top 25 school (Tepper, UNC)
Background: Undergad at SUNY Buffalo and worked as a credit analyst for 4 years at a regional commercial bank (PNC, Suntrust).

You will absolutely have a shot, your school will certainly not hold you back in any way. The fact that you have relevant experience is a huge plus, as you are a much less risky hire than a career switcher. Just make sure you do well both on the behavioral and technical aspects of your interviews, and try to get up to NYC to informally network when you have a chance. If this isn't an option you will definitely have chances through on campus recruiting and the large career fairs, but getting up there on your own to meet with bankers really shows interest and can help give you a leg up.
