Which graduation ceremony is more important?

Question

There's one offered by the business school where you are individually recognized by name as you walk across the stage and another by the university as a whole where your degree is conferred.

They occur on two different days and my family can only attend one. Which one would be better to go through?

For family, I would say that the smaller more intimate one where they mention your name is better.

They can actually see you on stage and celebrate your amazing achievement. The larger graduation ceremonies tend to be crowded and it will be difficult for them to see you.

You however can go to both if you're afraid of missing out

I definitely think the smaller, business school only graduation ceremony is the one to go to. You'll have your name called and your friends and family can see you. But, that is also the one where all your classmates will be and you'll be able to spend time with them again. There will also normally be a reception held by the school afterwards whereas they might not do that with the larger campus-wide ceremony.
